What Orbi is

Orbi is a guided manifestation practice that runs twice a day and holds you to what you said you’d do. You begin anonymously. A short conversation builds a practice around your answers. You do the practice. We don’t sell your data, we don’t advertise, and we don’t profile you.

What we collect

Each install creates a real account on our servers with no name and no email until you choose to add one. Everything below is owned by you and protected so only your account can read it.

Account

• An anonymous account is created the first time you reach the practice-building screen. Email and display name are added only if you link Apple or Google.
• Sign-in providers: Apple (display name and email, scoped to what you approve) and Google (when configured). Linking adds the identity to your existing account — nothing migrates.

Profile

• Chosen field (one of six life areas).
• Your main goal, in your own words.
• The sentence you want to say as if it’s already true.
• Your timezone (set from your device, used to keep days accurate).
• Reminder slots you’ve turned on (morning, afternoon, evening).
• Your name. Earlier accounts may not have one yet.

Practice data

• Each day’s ritual stages: check-in, which methods you did, and checkout.
• Mood, in plain words (heavy · low · okay · light · glowing) — not a clinical screen.
• Gratitudes and goals you wrote.
• 369 batches you completed.
• Streak length and history.
• Challenge progress and lesson progress.

Journal entries

What you wrote on a gratitude, a goal, or a challenge day. We keep them so the practice can show them back to you.

Subscription

Entitlement state is read from our database and is updated only by the payment processor. We never see card numbers — those stay with the App Store.

Device permissions you might grant

• Notifications. Only if you turn reminders on. We use them to nudge you to the practice and to send an affirmation from your field. “Tap to practise.” is the body text.
• Microphone and speech recognition. Only if you use “Speak aloud” on the 369 screen. The audio is recognised on-device. Audio does not leave your phone.
• Photos and camera. Only if you build a vision board. Vision boards are a premium feature and are stored privately.

What we don’t collect

• Advertising identifiers.
• Third-party trackers or marketing analytics.
• Biometric data.
• Location.
• Your contacts, calendar, or other device data.

How we use it

• To render the practice on this device.
• To sync across your devices when you sign in on another.
• To send the reminders you opted into.
• To answer your support requests.

Nothing else. No advertising. No profiling. No selling.

Where it’s stored

Structured data lives in a managed database in the United States. Vision board photos live in private storage that only your account can read. Backups and encryption at rest are the provider’s responsibility.

Your controls

Export

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you. The export is built into the in-app flow under you → data. Until that’s available in your version, write to us at the address below.

Delete

In the app, open you → account → delete. Type “delete” to confirm. We remove your vision board photos, then your account, then your practice data. A failed network call doesn’t delete anything; we only delete once the server confirms.

Switch accounts

Signing in on this phone with another account replaces the data on this phone. The account you switched from is left alone on the server — delete it from there too if you want it gone.

Sign out

Anonymous users don’t have a sign-out option: it would lose everything. Linked users can sign out from the same screen as delete.

Reminders

Turn them off any time in the app. They’re free for everyone.

Retention

Practice data is kept while your account exists. When your account is deleted, everything attached to it is removed with it. Vision board photos are removed before the account is deleted.

Children

Orbi is for adults. It isn’t directed at children under 13 (US COPPA) or under 16 (EU GDPR for information society services). Please don’t use it if you’re under the relevant age.

International transfers

Our database lives in the United States. If you’re in the EU, your data is transferred to and processed in the US when you use the app. Our hosting provider relies on the standard contractual clauses for that transfer.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update the date at the top when this changes. For material changes, we’ll also prompt you inside the practice.
